contestant can open one door at a time to find the prize, up to 4 times (so the candidate stops when the prize is found but can not open more than 4 doors). What is the probability of winning the prize?

Total 10 doors are available.

P(win price) = P(1) + P(2) + P(3) + P(4)

= 0.4

So, 0.4 is the probability of winning the prize.
