Question

Reply Geoffrey Groves 8:18am I wonder what the farmers would think if they were forced to sell at 3.00 per bushel? Maybe they would spot producing corn and try to make better profits froma different product? I dont really know what full part of what I pay at the store contributes towards the cost of a bushel, but I think and price drops eventually trickle down to me, I may want to buy a little more corn instead of peas? 6 Reply Caitlin Schwartz 5:36pm Jamie You have no incoming announceme

Answer #1

Refusing to purchase corn can make the situation whole worse. If the sellers won't get their stock sold they won't pay the farmers and also the stock would get wasted. Also, the decrease in price suggests that farmers are able to produce a lot of corn at ease and as its supply is more than demand, it's prices are low at the market.
