Answer: The osteoarthritis can be explained as the progressive disease which occurs with the aging process. The pathophysiology includes as when the person becomes old or aged, the fluid present in the cartilage increases. Hence this causes degeneration of the proteins. The rear and tear of the joints causes inflammation and swelling. In this case the cartilage gets degraded, this causes inflammation around the tissues and bones of the joints. The symptoms include such as:

• Stiffness
• Pain in joints
• Inflammation
• Irregular pain while walking
• Fatigue
• Reduced flexibility.
