The social responsibility of health care manager includes 4 fundamental responsibilities
to promote health
prevent illness
to restore health
to alleviate suffering
The health care manager should always be there to promote health to the patient not only by giving adequate care but also proper education should also be given. which means if the patient is having some sort of disease and the patient is recovering from that ,as a health care manager we should instruct them follow the care to promote health by means of good nutrition ,water proper hygiene . prevention of illness is one of the most important responsibility of a health care manager.we all know that "prevention is better than cure" .one should always be kept in mind that to prevent the illness is a better way .to achieve this we have to maintain proper hygiene of ourselves and our surroundings ,proper vaccination should be taken to prevent any sort of infection.if anyone doesn't know about that teach all these.the other responsibility of a health care manager is to decrease the suffering of the people. if a patient is affected by some sort of disease then the health care manager should always be with them to make their problem to less severe. no one should always be healthy at all time. sometimes they will be affected with diseases.the biggest issue that a health care manager face during their work time is that long working hours. if a person is dedicated to their profession then long working hours is not a problem for them.but suffering behind each and every health care manager to make a patient more healthier is negligible.the staff work for the welfare of the patient or wellness of the patient is a day and night process.to give care is god grace.but for that grace they are working more....The health care manager should focuses on promoting population benefit and promoting equity at the population level- how doe the intervention affect the overall burden of health and illness in the society
