DESTRUCTION OF BETA CELLS OF PANCREAS THAT DO NOT PRODUCE INSULIN TO METABOLISE GLUCOSE IN THE BODY, SO THERE IS A NEED TO ADMINISTER INSULIN TO THE CHILD FOR HIS SURVIVAL, IT IS IMPORTANT TO MONITOR CHILD'S REGULAR BLOOD SUGAR LEVEL AND THE DIET.

1. THE CHILD WHO DEVELOPS JUVENILE DIABETES ARE DUE TO THE GENETIC FACTOR, IN THIS FACTOR CERTAIN GENES INCREASES THE RISK OF DIABETES.

2.IF PARENTS OR THE SIBLINGS ARE SUFFERING FROM DIABETES THAN THERE ARE CHANCES TO DEVELOP THE SAME.
