1. Conept of "cognitive freedom " means ones right to privacy of own' s thought . Yes , we all human beings have the right to cognitive privacy because everyone is different and everyone has different types of personality , thinking etc Poking into one's cognitive freedom is against the ethics which will complicate the things . Yes , it's helpful in case of lie detection for resolving cases.

2. I don't think so , a lie detector is used to identify whether the person is saying true or false . It won't force a re-examination of the very" idea of privacy " .

3. According to me ,it's a good idea to further develop.in the field of fMRI lie detection technology which would help to resolve many untied cases .
