child's mental health is the most important aspect of the development of a child it enhances cognitive and social development within the child.

it is very important for the child to have good mental health in order to feel positive in whatever he does and also positive for his family or society.

to be productive in his life a child must gain various positive attitude from family, society, and peers, it is very important for cognitive development of a child to live in a healthy environment where love, emotions, compassion, trust, and understanding exists.

and the child who does not get love but gains hatred, negligence, ignorance, and disturbed family environment is unable to maintain healthy mental health and later these children are more prone to develop mental illness.

some children born with mental illness naturally without environmental influences, this kind of child faces difficulty in adjusting with emotions within society, family and school, to help these children too live a normal life special mental health programmes are made and special schools are established t enhance their cognitive functioning.

children with mental illness should get proper treatment immediately in childhood , if they are left untreated they repeat the same behaviour in future with their children, and have a negative attitude towards everything, their performances are poor in schools and colleges, develop low self-esteem and also develop an unhealthy lifestyle.

if they get proper attention in the childhood these children have seen establishing promising life with positive attitude and also maintains a healthy lifestyle.

there are many mental conditions a child can have such as autism, attention deficit hyperactive disorder, bipolar disorder, etc which should be given attention as soon as it is possible to avoid any difficulty for the child in future.

as mental health is a condition where behavioural and cognitive development therapy should be given to both family and the child, it is very important for the family to understand and accept the illness their child has, also family should be educated enough to deal with this behaviour of children.

as all family members cannot have the same mental status some may be happy, some are maybe depressed, some may not feel this problem, so it is very important for the family to understand their child's problem and cooperate him in overcoming from this illness by cognitive and behavioural therapy.

Diagnosis should be done by a specialised doctor, as soon as you notice any abnormal behaviour in your child take him to the doctor and rule out what is not acceptable and treat it immediately when the mental illness is diagnosed medications and therapy should be provided as soon as possible, counselling should be given to the family to cope up with the situation.

other therapies can be given such as art therapy, music therapy, singing therapy etc.

support from family, peers, the school should be provided to the child to adjust with the society and live a normal healthy life.
