a)mean of the temperature is = total sum of the given temperature/total number of temperatures

=(97.4 +96.9+98.2+...........+96.9)/48

=4706.4/48 = 98.05°F

b) for the median , all the first we will arrange the data either in ascending order or descending order then median will be the 98.15°F

c)B the results are contradicts the beliefs that mean body temperature is 98.6°F because both mean and median are less then 98.6°F
