Discuss the health pros and cons of a meat-and-potatoes diet vs. a liberal vegetarian diet vs. a strict plants-only vegan diet. Which nutrients could be in jeopardy and which nutrients could be easily satisfied with each diet?

Answer :- As we know that meat have high levels of saturated fat that can raise cholesterol , that causes heart disease , cancer and diabetes.

Pros and cons :-

* Meat boosts energy level but may increase the risk of disease.

* Meat supports a strong immune system , but may lead to diabetes.

* Meat supports metabolism but could lead to heart disease.

Potatoes are a good source of iron , which helps to prevent anemia. We need to eat the skin , because of fiber.

Pros:-

* Potatoes are help ful in blood sugar regulation.

* Short chain fatty acids being produce.

* Long texture and a minimal tendency to foaming.

Cons :-

* It contains carbohydrates.

* It consists of amylose and amylopectin encourages gelling.

* They have high glycemic index.

Vegetarian eat both dairy products and eggs , it also eats leafy vegetables , and can not eat meat , fish and mostly eats plant products like grains , fruits , nuts etc.

While a vegan consumes only plant products , but can't eat foods that come from animals , including dairy products and eggs.

When ever food breaking down into simplest parts it's nutrients always get released , mostly vegetables release their nutrients and vitamins when ever we cook them , similarly rice jeopardize it calcium content when cooked , vegetables , meat lose vitamins , proteins , calcium , zinc contents when cooked.

Following nutrients could be easily satisfied with each diet that is milk products , eggs , nuts and a variety of beans , fruits that contain iron, calcium, vitamin D ,vitamin B12 and zinc etc.
