You are the vice president of Patient Care Services for both acute care hospitals. Who would you identify as stakeholders in the implementation and why? What steps would you take to minimize user resistance?

Some of the most important stakeholders needed for a acute care settings or a hospital are

• Financial stakeholders :The main stakeholders who contribute for running of an organization.They includes the insurance company's, providers who are responsible for meeting and balancing the expenditure. They also ensure that the hospital is carried in a profitable manner
• Medical stakeholders :These includes the medical professionals like providers,lab technician, phlebotomists,nurses,paramedics,etc.,
• Clinician stakeholders :These includes the patients who are getting admitted in the hospital.They establish a relationship between admission and discharge.  
• Vendors:They are involved in the management of the informational technology, electronic health record ,HIPAA,etc.,

Some of the steps which can be initiated to minimize the user resistanc are

• Create trust among the employees
• Plan ahead and implement things in a systematic way
• Follow a strategy which involves everyone's participation in reaching the success
• Get feedback
• Analyse the problem and provide timely intervention so that the usage are subsequently increased in the healthcare.
