1. Japan

Labour force = Employed + Unemployed people = 98 + 8.6 = 106.6

Unemployment rate = Unemployed people / Labour force * 100

= 8.6 / 106.6 * 100 = 8.067 %

Labour force participation rate = Labour force / Total population * 100

= 106.6 / 150 * 100

= 71.06 %

2. France

Employed individual = Labour force - Unemployed

= 75 - 14.95 = 60.05

Unemployment rate = Unemployed / Labour force * 100

= 14.95 / 75 * 100 = 19.93 %

Total adult population = Labour force * 100 / Labour force participaiton rate

= 75 * 100 / 69.5 = 107.91

3. Germany

Unemployed = 6.4 % of labour force

= 6.4 / 100 * 56 = 3.58

Employed = Labour force - unemployed

= 56 - 3.58 = 52.42

Labour force participation rate = Labour force / population * 100

= 56 / 68 * 100 = 82.35 %
