Use of tube method using LISS (Low Ionic strength Saline) for Antibody testing

Since Auto control is positive presence of reaction between patients Antigen and Serum

Multiple antibodies are present in the serum giving cross reactivity in various blood groups of the patient except in Lutherans Blood group where Lu b antibodies are present

We have to take history of recent transfusion, cold autoantibody formation, Stem cell transplantation.

Repeat grouping using Elution tests, Adsorption Test must be done to confirm the exact blood group of the patient before transfusing blood.
