: Choose one area affected by climate change in your region and discuss implications for health and service providers Please cite in APA format.
There were many areas in my village which got affected by excessive rain which was a deviation from normal climatic condition . Actually it resulted in a disaster called flood . All the town's were under water ,houses and cars submerged in water . Roads were become rivers and lakes . People have to shift from there houses to other areas which were at height and some people have to leave their houses to rescue themselves .
This had resulted in increased demand of the healthcare services. As it was the sudden climate change , the healthcare providers were not that ready to provide their services and also there was shortage of staffs.
This implies that the healthcare workers have to be ready with all the resources and supplies to provide care to the population any time . They need to be prepared for the emergency and the staffs must be trained well to provide immediate care by having mock drills , excellent disaster management system etc.
