Answer: There are certain objectives of the costume design. Some of the objectives are:

  • Setting style as well as tone : It shows the specific style and focus on the way person's personality to carry themselves.
  • Meeting the needs of the performers : The need of the perfomer and the character that could be played. Such as doctor wear white apron.
  • Creating the symbolism: Specific dress has their own symbol such as judge wears a black over coat.
  • Characterizing groups or individuals.
  • Co Ordinating with the total production.
