  1. Ordered dose= 40mg Available dose= 125mg/2ml ( dilute in 5ml) = 125/5 = 25mg/ml ml= ordered dose/ available dose * volume = 40/25* 1 = 1.6 ml so, 1.6ml each of iv methylprednisolone will be administered for the patient for Q12h.
  2. As the patient was on IV methyleprednisolone 40mg BD, so the recommended dose of tablet prednisone during discharge to home will be 40mg BD.
  3. For the above recommended prednisone dose regimen, each tablet is 20 mg. So total 38 number of tablets will be dispense to the patient.
