The efficient-market hypothesis (EMH) is a hypothesis in financial economics that states that asset prices reflect all available information.
Yes, it is still valid today. Majority of the stock market in the developed and developing nations are weak and semi strong form efficient. It is difficult to test strong form of EMH due to lack of information.
