These types of services to be stopped should be notified already 60 to 90 days in prior .A very short time can lead to loss of the particular job by particular workers which can make them fall a prey for financial crisis all of a sudden. There will not be adequate time for making decision and providing options to the employees when there is no contract all of a sudden.
