Please help with this Econometrics question
In econometrics we never accept null hypothesis. Either we reject it or fail to reject the null-hypothesis.
So technically type-II error is non-rejection of false null hypothesis. so correct answer should be none of the above.

In hypothesis testing, which of the following results in a type I error? Rejecting a true null hypothesis Rejecting a true alternative hypothesis Rejecting a false null hypothesis Rejecting a false alternative hypothesis
Identify the two types of incorrect decisions in a hypothesis test. For each incorrect decision, what symbol is used to represent the probability of making that type oferror? Choose the correct answer below. A.A Type I error is accepting a false null hypothesis, whose probability is denoted alphaα. A Type II error is not accepting a true null hypothesis, whose probability is denoted betaβ. B.A Type I error is not rejecting a false null hypothesis, whose probability is denoted alphaα....

Question 10 0.07 pts Type I error is the probability level at which you are willing to be wrong when rejecting Ho (the Null Hypothesis). True False Question 11 0.07 pts An import threshold for mercury in crayfish is 9 parts per billion (ppb). A study obtained a random sample of 120 crayfish from a large lake. Of these, 24 have levels of mercury that exceeded 9 ppb. Past research had shown that 25% of the crayfish had levels that...
Complete the statement below. A Type II Error is made. Choose the correct answer below. O A. A Type II Error is made when there's not enough evidence to reject the null hypothesis and the null hypothesis is true. OB. A Type II Error is made anytime we do not reject the null hypothesis. OC. A Type II Error is made when there's not enough evidence to reject the null hypothesis, but the null hypothesis is not true. OD. A...
