SOLUTION;

1.John is intrested in wrestling.When looking to add muscle the wrestlers should take in at least 500 calories per day above their standard maintanance needs.for a wrestler is training two hours per day in the off season he would require at least 20 calories per pound of body weight per day. For John 180*20=3600 calories per day requires if he have an interest in wrestling.His daily food intake is 3000 k cal/day he have to take 600 kcal/day if he have to intrest in wrestling.

2.3500 calories equals one pound.So if he have to reduce one pound per weak then he should reduce 500-1000 calories a day from the typical diet.

3.for improve weight John needs 20 calories per pound because he have an interest on wrestling.So he should take 500 calories per pound.
