Spirituality plays a major role in treatment of patients.As we know spirituality may not cure illness but it increases the strength,faith and comfort for people who are not not only suffering from illness but it also helps healthy people to become aware to the course of life and death.
It helps people by increasing awareness of illness,death,stress and helps them to cope with them.When one is terminally ill spiritually.There may be no treatment for certain diseases but if a person is attuned to spirituality then they will be able to accept the suffering and pain and be able to heal and make them peacefull.
The people with who have found comfort in spirituality and religion are more able to cope with the illness and accept the suffering and they will have more positive outlook towards the life and make peace with their suffering.
