Public health professionals play a key role in the health of the community. The leading cause of death are associated with the cardiovascular diseases. The government has brought some measures to address this and prevent it right in the community by public health professionals providing indirect care.Here the healthcare professionals and the patients or publics are linked with the help of technologies (social media,chatting,text messages ,etc.,)They assure the cardiac rehab programs in the following way

• Educate on the risk factors of cardiac disease (smoking, alcohol, diet , sedentary lifestyle, exercise )
• Ways to follow a strict lifestyle changes and management
• Educate about the type of exercise to be done
• Counsel the patients when they cannot overcome with the management of the heart issues
• Creating awareness to all age group
• Nearly 36 supervised sessions are done in 12 weeks in cardiac rehab program

There is an active participation and dedication by public health professionals to bring down the rate of cardiac diseases .
