Answer: Ezetimibe is the drug that can ve given to the patient. This drug acts by reducing the absorption of cholesterol in the intestine. The reduced absorption will lead to decrease accumulation of bad cholesterol. Hence this will prevent increased risk of heart disease.

The common side effects includes headache, diarrhea, fatigue etc. This drug is safe for the administration as it doesn't have major interactions with the other drug. But grape fruit as well as juice should be avoided. This drug should be taken once daily.
