The cytotoxic T cells destroy pathogens by phagocytosis. The main difference between T-cells and B-cells is that T-cells can only recognize viral Antigens Outside the infected cells where as B-cells can recognize the surface Antigens of bacteria and vineses T-cells and B-cells (T- Thymus) B (Bone marrow) are the major cellular Components of the adaptive Immune responie T-cells are Involved in cele mediated Immunity and B-cells are heimarily responsible for humoral Immunity The Interplay between the Innate and adaptive immune system is : - Innate Immune reponse is Immediate. Adaptive Immune response is not . - Adaptive Immune response is long lasting highly specific and is sustained by memory T-cells
