1. Answer is option d : biological basis of intelligence.

Fluid intelligence is the capacity of mind especially to understand principles, facts, truths, meanings, apply knowledge and apply it to practice. Fluid intelligence is the inherited ability to reason and think. It is not based on prior learning and experiences unlike crystallized intelligence.

2. Answer is option b : false

Non - normative life events are unpredictable, unexpected and significant happenings in an individual's life. One can't foretell these type of events , it do not follow the predictable pattern of an individual's developmental life cycle.

3. Answer is option c : Parenthood

Parenthood hood is a normative event. It is normal transition stage in life ones an individual reaches his or her adulthood, but now a days for most of the young men and women do not easily fit into that position, it may take some time to adjust with the role of parent.

* Note: Job loss is a non- normative event.

4. Answer is b : False

Ageing process itself do not prevent men from making offsprings, even though some changes occur in male reproductive system as they age . Changes or lack of  men' s sexual activity that leads to reproduction are often related to associated illnness or chronic diseases such as prostate enlargement , erctile dysfunction (due to treatment for Hypertension , heart disease or Diabetes Mellitus), not exactly related to ageing. There are literatures and facts that evident that few old men can father offspring.

5. Answer is option a : Erikson

According to Erik Erikson' s '  Psycho- social stages of development ' theory, there are 8 stages of development in an individual's life span. The 7th stage is middle adulthood or stage of Generativity Vs Stagnation. In this stage people usually continue to build the career and family and if they are successful in this stage, they feel that they are achieving and contributing to family or to community. If they fail in this stage they feel stagnation ( consider themselves as unproductive individual ).
