Imagine that you are asked to determine students’ opinions at your school about different types of contraception or birth control methods. Describe how you could go about getting a sample of each of the following types: simple random sample, sample of convenience, voluntary response sample, stratified sample, cluster sample, systematic sample.

let us say if we want n participants in sample :

simple random sample : select n students randomly

sample of convenience : select n students that you find nearb or easily

voluntary response sample : send out an announcement or conduct survey where people could volunteers and you could get n students for the sample who volunteer themselves.

stratified sample : divided the students into subgroups based on any particular criteria and then take students from each subgroup randomly

cluster sample : take some students from each grade in your school

systematic sample : assign number to each student and then pick every k th student where k is a random number
