Answer #1

Cahokia was first occupied in the 700 A.D. and flourished for nearly four centuries (Between CE 950 to 1350). The population of Cahokia reached approximately 20,000 individuals and became a main extensive urban centre in prehistoric America north of Mexico. Cahokia was the most influential and primary centre of the urban settlement of the Middle Mississippian culture that developed across advanced societies much of what now is the central and south-eastern U.S., beginning nearly 1,000 years before European arrived. Cahokia was greatest node in the huge trade, and also the political-military, network which encompasses nearly 52,000 square kilometres. The Cahokia's complex society prospered in the fertile lands near to Mississippi River and it was booming long before Europeans arrive to America
