The accounting information that does not tell about a transaction is

1. Whether the transaction recorded is genuine or not.

2. Whether the transaction recorded is a duplicate entry due to error or omission.

3. Whether Cash basis or Accrual basis is followed in recording a transaction. (Only with few transactions the basis ie. Cash or Accrual can be known. Through payable and receivable accounts. Example - Salaries payable, Unearned revenues etc...)

4. The accounts debited and credited in a transaction are correct or not.

5. The amounts with which the accounts are debited and credited in a transaction are correct or not.
