18 ) Abraham Maslow's theory on the hierarchy of needs, needs must be met in a hierarchical structure where meeting one need propels the individual to seek meeting "higher" needs. Identify the level of care required for the patient. Nurses working in a clinical setting will not need to attend to the need for food and water, but do need to protect the safety and privacy for their patients. Confirming what setting the patient will receive care can help you to understand which patient needs must be met first.

19) Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) perform task-based nursing care under the direction of a registered nurse. Specific tasks may include administering medications, taking vital signs, and wound care. LPNs in this role provide oversight and leadership to staff such as CNAs, medical assistants, and other ancillary staff. Watson's Theory of Human Care draws from the works of Western and Eastern philosophers, approaching the human care relationship as a moral idea that includes concepts such as phenomenal field, actual caring occasion, and trans personal caring. LPN works is greatly influenced by the theory because of the focus is on to the client oriented individualized care with the help of other workers.

20)It is the need to redress an inequality or injustice in a system. One of the principles of advocacy is that every person should be valued, ensuring that people are not ignored. In healthcare advocacy, it is the need to be respected and listened to, and be involved in the decision making that will affect lives.
