It is a primary agency under US government focus on public health research, it was established in 1870, it comes under Department of Health and Human centers and activities to do research and disease prevention, early detection and providing training, etc.
b, NIH mission inlcude development of basic knowledge about health and illness and action towards reducing disease burden and disability.
c, Organization structure includes many different institutes and centers, it having its own agenda focusing on disease prevention. it receives funds from the federal government and its leadership quality shapes its goal. it has its own policy for planning, coordinating and managing the programs and activities.
d, Scope of work require prior approval to work or make research as a third party, it changes in approach, methodology, the project made by investigators.
