Contributory negligence is the resonableness ,which involves exposure of person or property of another to unreasonable risk for injury by acts of commission or omission,to meet the Standard of prudence that one should observe for one's own good .

Conditions someone from being declared guilty of contributory negligence are the following :-

  • Legally reorganized duty of care to protect others unreasonable risk so that one's get proper care and avoid negligence .
  • Give proper physical , emotional or mental care to the client because damage of these can increase risk and cause injury .
  • Failure to perform according to an established standard of conduct and care because nurse or any healthcare delegates retains accountability for the performance of the activity and client outcome.
