Thigh muscles are called striated muscles which is a type of Skeletal muscle.

The category of drug administered to paralyze striated muscle is known as Neuromuscular blocking drugs(NMBDs)

Example - Vecuronium, atracurium

NMBDs blocks impulse transmission between muscles and nerve and relax the muscle so, it also called muscle relaxant.
