Scenario 2: You are working in a Cancer Registry and have just received a phone call from the Oncology Department Director requesting a report of all of Dr. Lonestone's lung cancer cases for the past two years where treatments such as resections, chemotherapy, and radiation were provided. She would also like the same type of report for Dr. Trotter's colon cancer patients for the past two years. The Oncology Department wants to create a presentation to show trends in the kind of treatments commonly utilized for these diagnoses at their facility and patient outcomes.

Data Analysis Report would be much beneficial to give the presentation on the Scenario mentioned

Analyzing the data includes different variables like Age, Sex, ethnicity, treatment group, Main diagnosis. As the scenario specifically talks about the different treatment groups like Resection, Chemotheray and Radiation the data collected could be presented based on the treatment groups. A graphical represntation of data would be more effective. When presenting the data the following variables can be taken into consideration so as to make the presentation look effective.

Age groups

Treatment groups- Resection, Chemotherapy, Radiation

Sex/Gender

Main Diagnosis

Two seperate reports one for Lung cancer cases and another for Colon cancer cases will be required.

Each report should mainly give the information on the main diagnosis, the kind of treatment provided to the specific diagnosis and the patients survival/recovery percentage.
