1.Some of the benefits which can be accepted from a pharmaceutical company are

• Sample drugs by the physician
• Sample devices for practice in healthcare sector  
• Updating them about the new medicines and technological advancements in the pharmaceutical field
• Making use of the drug information booklet, catalogue from the pharmaceutical company

The new law states that a physician accepting gifts,hospitality, cash or any benefits from pharma company may be lead to removal of their name from Medical Register for three months.Doing so is Medicolegal

2.Th responsibility of a doctor is to prescribe medicine only after seeing the patient physically if not possible at least with telephonic conversation or video conversation the medication to be prescribed .If it is done the doctor may face legal consequences by the plaintiff if anything goes wrong and patient dies.
