1. Children's who attend day care centres are most prone to get ear infections meningitis, and pneumonia because children's immunity system will not be properly developed.Also children who already had certain infections can spread easily in direct contact or through care givers.This can be explained to the children through certain symposiums or flash cards which makes children to understand easily.

2. Children's should be taught of some hygenic practices such as Hand washing, carrying or drinking water from their own bottles, do not share the cups mugs, plates, hand kerchiefs napkins etc.Care givers should maintain personal hygiene.Handling excreta of children having diarrhoea should be taken some precautions, hand washing should be done before touching every child.Educate care givers to avoid children sharing certain things in order to avoid infections.Advice the care givers for proper cleaning of the toys used by children.

3. Children can be asked to draw certain pictures stating or showing the difference between dirty and clean hands.So children can express their ideas in the form of pictures which makes you to explain them about the importance of practicing it.

4. Children can be taught of carrying a hand kerchiefs with them, Ask them to cover the mouth and nose while coughing and sneezing.Explain them about how germs escape in to the environment and spread infections through coughing and sneezing.

5. Provide children certain drinks and ask them to have it.Observe how many did share the drink and how many did not.Ask them the same question.Just ask children to demonstrate how did they share.So explain them how saliva of one person enter other person through sharing drinks.In the same explain them not have food after one taking it and explain about how they will get infected.
