occular movement is controlled by :

a. 3rd , 6th & 4th cranial nerves

b. Lateral rectus , medial rectus , Superior rectus , inferior rectus , Superior oblique , inferior oblique

technique for testing :
* patient should keep his head immobile , follow the nurses finger with their eyes as nurse traces letter H

* eye should move in all directions in coordination, smooth , symmetrical fashion.
