I am providing the the information provided in the paper published by jimyang kim jong wah lee about the role of gender inequlity and womens participation in economics growth. This paper was published in 2016.

1. According to this paper modern koren women face various dimension of inequlity i.e. social, cultural and economic.

2.However educational attainment of korean women in korea has substaintially improved over the last half centuray.

3. Despite of Republixh of Korea's rapid economic development over the last four decades specially after 1970s reform process the work participation in labour force by women is still lagging behind.than in comparison of other developed countries.

4. In 2012 LWFPR in Korea women's participation was only 55.2 % which is 12.3 % lower than the US.

Now see this data of unpaid and paid female workers and see the gender discrimination.There is gender gap in wages too.

Therefore if we talk about the future perspective definitly there is a positive improvment in the labour force participation by women and it is moving in postive direction.
