Fluconazole is used to prevent fungal and yeast infections. Fluconazole belongs to anti fungal medication catagory. Losartan is an Angiotensin ll receptor antagonist.

Drug interaction is present between fluconazole and losartan. Fluconazole inhibits the metabolism of losartan to E-31 74 ( its active metabolite). And hence this will results in increased risk of adverse effects of losartan.
