Ans) Oxygen is given at a certain speed or rate which is measured in liters per minute. A 2 liter per minute rate is quite common in adults, although when there is severe shortness of breath, the rate is increased to 3, 4 or 5 liters/minute in some cases.

- Monitor O2 level - SPO2 even of O2 & slowly taper it.

- Ipratropium bromide, sold under the trade name Atrovent among others, is a medication which opens up the medium and large airways in the lungs. It is used to treat the symptoms of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and asthma. It is used by inhaler or nebulizer.
