Answer #1

1.

In this case Lise had the conflict of values. This is the ethical conflict that a person has when they involve personal values in profession decision making. Lise has a personal beleif that death should be natural and inducing death is unethical. This conflicts with her professional decision os helping Caroline to restrict treatment.

B.

I agree with the ethicist side. A capable person has all right to accept or deny health service as per their wishes ans their wishes should be respected.

C. Yes, Lise's distress on this decision is on basis of her conscience. This is because her values do not allow killong someone or helpinh someone to die. This is making her stressed out that she helped Caroline to die at her will and she is not enable to accept the ethical view point of tbe professional conduct in this case.
