2.Lise objections can be accommodated in intensive care unit only when the patient is unable to consent or in a sound mind to take decision.A team leader is a person who should be skilled enough to make decision on what is moral ,legal and ethical in patient care and decision.They should be strong enough not only physically but also mentally when a decision is made by a patient as a choice of treatment. This is an act of respect shown to the patient's feeling and emotions. A person who can neutralize the good and bad experiences as one can lead others confidentiality if not they cannot lead a group.Here Lise is not under this category and she cannot be an effective team leader.

3.She can be explained in the following way

  • Describing about the principle of ethics (autonomy) where a patient can make their own decisions on accepting or refusing a treatment igbthey are mentally sound. It is totally their emotions and feelings of them physically and mentally to choose which can be the best for themselves and their family members. Usually these types of request can be expected from a patient who understands that the treatment cannot help them to recover rather can be distressing and painful. In order to avoid this and have a peace patients go for these types of decisions. Hence being a healthcare professionals accepting this is an act of respecting those patient.If objected it is an act of disrespect given to patient .
