The estalished custom that was initially and in some cases is still horrified at recognition of the potential for effective sex selection of future children wes not only that of conservativw religion,but also that of some components of organised feminism.By the1980s,feminism was becoming a politically influential force in Western Europe,North America,Australia and several other westernised democratic countries.The diellema posed by sex selected abortion that many feminists,not all of whom are women,consider choice in abortion to underpin women's moral agency and the defence of their self determination.A leading modern analyst has observed that, "Whatever the specific reasons are for abortion,most feminist believe that the women concerned are in the best position to judge whether abortion is the appropriate response to pregnancy.Because usually only the woman choosing abortion is properly situated to weigh all the relevant factors,most feminist resist attempts to offer,general ,abstract rules for determining when absortion is merelly justified Despite the diversity of opinion found among feminists agree that women must gain full control over their own reproductive lives if they are to free themselves from the male dominanace".

Sex selected abortion,however is seen as an instrument and consequence of male dominanace that feminists are commited to oppose.It has been obseved that "(M)any feminists view any efforts to plan the sex of future children as epitomising sexism" .writig about abortion in 1986,a prominent pro choice advocate stated 'We believe abortion for gender choice is an unqualified moral wrong'.

Sex difference between children is different in different countries.There may be the same preference in some families for a first born child to be male.but this preference is having equal priority and oppurtunity between the sexes.selection baesed on sex is clearly sexual,but not necessaily sexist.prohibition on sex selection may well be unnecessary and oppressive as well as posing risk to women's lives.

As a whole the conservative or religious view is, they can advise couples on means to favour the birth of either a male or female child in christian era.The Feministic views are entirely different from that they believe that ,women(they) are in the best position to judge whether abortion is appropriate response to pregnancy.So the answer is very clear feminist donot agree the views of the conservatives.So my point is sex selection cant be ethically tolerable.Prohobition of sex selection is well.The ethics committe of American society of reproductive medicine have also indicated that gender selection for non medical reasons should be strongly discouraged.
