Elective procedure are the procedures which is well planned and does not require any medical or surgical emergencies.

Required procedures are procedures to be done as a part of the treatment, which can be planned or done in emergency.

Emergency procedures are done as a life saving procedure, which is done in case of any medical or surgical emergencies.

Health care team includes :

Doctors consultant,    physician assisstants, nurses, pharmacist, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, radiologist, technicians, laboratory technicians, rehabilitation therapists, public health workers, counsellors, social workers.

Medical disciplines are

Pulmonology_ deals with disease condition of respiratory system.

Cardiology _ related to medical conditions of cardiac system or heart.

Endocrinology - related to condition of endocrine system or glands  

Neurology - related to condition of brain or nervous system

1. Thoracentesis - insertion of a needle into pleural cavity for pneumothorax or hemothorax.

4. Bone marrow aspiration - insertion of needle into bone marrow for diagnostic or therapeutic purpose

6. Endoscopy - insertion of endoscope into Upper gastrointestinal track for therapeutic or diagnostic purpose.
