The rapidly increasing computerization in the health care benefitted so many health care providers and the patients. The technology has been developed to that extent wereby the hail are providers ignore or fail to see any warning signals in the electronic devices or the record and solve the issue.
The reasons for resisting the alarm is:
* improper knowledge and training to handle the electronic health record
* due to improper functioning of equipments : when the health care provider analyses that the medical equipment is not in good condition he may resist the alarm
* busy schedule for instance when the health care provider is very busy in doing his activities and if a equipment alarms he may put in silent mode to monitor it later and forgets about it.
The solution for this is:
* to have proper checklist and monitoring the equipment for its better working conditions.
* funneling alerts to right people wereby action can be taken immediately.
