Answer #1

Intake

Coffee 2cups=500ml (1 cup us approximately =250 1ml in a standard )

Juice 4oz=118.2 or 118ml(1ml=29.57ml or 30 ml)

Milk 1/4 cup=62.5 ml

Soup 1bowl=180ml

Hello 1/2cup=125ml

Water 2cup =500ml

IV fluid =2l or 2000ml

Total intake=3485.5 ml

Output

Urine=2000ml

Emesis=400ml

Total output =2400ml

To find the positive and negative balance subtract Output from Intake

3485.5ml_2400ml=1085.5 ml

It is a positive balance as the intake is more than than the output

The patient is in positive balance by 1085.5 ml
