Epidemiology is the study of distribution and determinants of health and disease in a population .Agent, Environment and Susceptible host are the three concepts in the triangle . Epidemiological triangle is the mode of disease process used for prevention strategies.

Epidemiological triangle is an important component of healthcare prevention strategies because it helps to determine the causative factors and the geographical area which are most affected by the disease condition . It helps to make strategies which are more effective and efficient in disease prevention because it uses the information of disease causing agent ,host and other environmental factors as the backbone and makes strategies according to that .

Prevention and public health fund are the two important parameters for implementation of the healthcare prevention strategies . Public health fund is very important because to make the amendments , development of policies ,making people awareness etc fund is required, without sufficient funding implementation of these strategies is not possible and it will directly affect the human population by causing diseases.
