Read and respond to the below article? Although my son wanted to get the new I-phone 10 and I told him he wasn't going to add a new phone to our bill then he doesn't pay his part of the bill. He tried to convince me that he could give me a certain amount of money right then and when the phone bill came, he would pay the phone off, but I wasn't convinced. I tried to tell him he could he could take his phone off our bill then he could get whatever he wanted cause at the end of the day, that would be his responsibility to keep up with his own bill. The only thing about trying to get the bill in his name is that they would have to run his credit and I know, and I know he's been trying to get his credit up higher. So as much as I wanted him off my bill I knew it would be a challenge. I still wanted him off though! After going back and forth with him we ended up going to the AT&T store to see if he could make it happen and apparently it happened. So even though I didn't think it was going to happened for him, it did. In the mist of it all, he is trying to grow up and be more responsible for what he has.to do. He got his new phone, own bill and myself and my mom ended up upgrading or phone as well. So, the strategies that I used towards him seemed to work. It went from debating to trying to convince him to it all working out.

This is the phase of every family as they want to be their children independent and children themselves want to become the same but it takes time for them to be independent from totally dependent. It is a gradual process and parents should be patient about it because sooner or later everyone will be independent. In this article it happened the same as son wanted to have I phone 10 but father thought that he wanted to add that bill on his cylce and denied and then realized that son wants to pay the bill by him self only.
