The safe medication for the young patients includes most of the things as young patients can easily understand the need of the medication. Their body responds to drug very fast as compared to very old patient. This is because the process of ADME( absorption, disintegration, metabolism and elimination) is much faster in very young patients as compared to very old patient.

So, the pharmacokinetics of the drug and pharmacodynamics process is more improved and enhance in young patients. The very old patient needs extra care as their cells and tissues does not that much responsive as compared to young patients because at old age the cell starts to get damaged and all the pharmacokinetics process slows down. The older patients needs much care and attention as they need proper teachings and education. It is difficult to make them understand about certain things. The protein binding ability in the very old Patients gets reduced.
