Answer #1

Solving first 4 as per HOMEWORKLIB POLICY. Please post rest in a separate question. Thank you.

A. Sample mean would be the total movies watched/25

=0*3+1*4+2*3+3*8+4*7/25

=0+4+6+24+28/25

=62/25

=2.48

B. Standard deviation of a population is given by

- ΗΣΟι – μ)

where mu is mean of the population, N is the number of populatio. Putting values in and calculating, we get

standard deviation=1.36

C. The histogram has been created below

Frequency 3 1 2 3 No of movies watched

D.

The table has been filled below. Explanation follows

No of movies Frequency Relative Frequency Cumulative Relative Frequency
0 3 0.12 0.12
1 4 0.16 0.28
2 3 0.12 0.4
3 8 0.32 0.72
4 7 0.28 1

Relative frequency=frequency of current number/total frequency (which is 25 in our case)

Cumulative Relative Frequency=sum of all relative frequencies till that number.
