Answer: In one of the survey it has been found that there will be much more nursing shortage in future. The future of nursing shortage is not over. Due to increase in demand of nurses and continuous shortage of nurses have adverse impact on the healthcare system.

Nurses perform multiple works and they are not only bound to the taking care of the patient but also they act as a nurse leader, nurse educator , nurse advisor etc. They consider all the public health function as their responsibilities and duty. There is much increased work load on the nurses.

If there will be shortage of nurses then the work pressure will be increased on them. This will lead to burnout and working extra hours may cause discomfort to them. This can also make them ill or unhealthy. This will have major impact on the patient and the community as they will not be able to get proper care or a better service treatment. This will also lead to the poor productivity level and patient satisfaction level outcomes will be Negative. This will affect the healthcare organization.
