Mediterranean diet is the diet followed by people living in the mediterranean region. It is considered to be one of the healthiest diets. Individually my diet compares poorly with mediterranean diet. It includes less of plant based foods and more of diary products. Changes that can be made to one’s diet by seeking inspiration from mediterranean diet is as follows:

  • Including more plant based foods in the diet
  • Replacing butter with olive oil.
  • Eating fish two times a week
